David is one of the most experienced automotive industry specialists in North America. He is one of the few journalists with an actual experience working as both an automotive design engineer and automotive production engineer. This means that David knows how to design and build cars intimately and therefore have specialized automotive industry knowledge.
David previously worked as a vehicle evaluation engineer at General Motors headquarters in Detroit. He is also an experienced automotive process engineer (he was the first employee of CAMI GM/Suzuki joint venture plant) and was a former Management Consultant specializing in Supply Chain. David also worked as a project manager for a number of critical projects including Toyota's new CAPTIN plant in BC. David's career started as working for a Toyota supplier in Japan.
David belongs to several professional associations related to automotive and engineering area, including Professional Engineering Associations and Society of Automotive Engineers.
David is a Professional Engineer with post-graduate certificates from both MIT and Harvard Business School out of Boston.
